Boat Information
The POCO LOCO is a 31' Contender powered by twin Yamaha 250 HP engines complete with a wide assortment of tackle ranging from bottom fishing rods and reels to stand up rods from J & M Tackle. We also carry Shimano Tiagra 50 LRS and 30 TLD reels. The POCO LOCO also has spinning rods we use to throw top water baits to free jumping tuna.
The POCO LOCO has the "top of the line" safety equipment such as an EPIRB and a 6 man Zodiac Life Raft, as well as, a complete array of electronics, including satellite radio, radar, VHF radio, handheld waterproof VHF radio, Sitex bottom machine, and a Garmin GPS.
Captain Information
Captain Jerry Allen, Jr. has been blue water fishing since 1974. He started out as a deckhand during his summer vacations from college. This led to a true passion for blue water sport fishing. His fishing experience ranges from fishing up and down the Texas Coast, to Cozumel, Mexico, Bahamas, Florida Keys, Kona, HI, and finally landing in "Heaven," Venice, LA. His love for blue water fishing has inspired him to charter his 31" Contender, the POCO LOCO, in hopes of sharing his passion for sport fishing with others.
