Spring and early summer have got to be my favorite offshore of Venice. It seems like everything comes alive and they are all HUNGRY!!

For the past couple of weeks we have been invaded by the largest number of school size Yellowfin that I have ever seen. They seem to be at any and every rig you pull up to and most are being taken on top water baits. Gotta love that!

The rips are already forming up and by early to mid May the bull Dolphin will be swarming the place along with a few Wahoo and the occasional Marlin.

Snapper season is set to begin June first, and I can't wait because they too are everywhere and BIG.

Can't hardly go wrong booking a trip this time of year.
